White House: Budget Review


The White House will release its delayed midsession budget review Thursday. An administration official said Wednesday that the semi-annual review of President Barack Obama’s budget proposal for fiscal 2012 will revise estimates of the budget deficit, growth and unemployment until 2021.

Christine O’Donnell, the Delaware Republican who lost her race for the U.S. Senate last year, was first invited and then booted from the lineup of Tea Party speakers on Saturday. The group has  re-invited O’Donnell, who defeated moderate congressman Mike Castle for the GOP Senate nomination. She lost the general election to Democrat Chris Coons.
