The list of fundraisers, which includes Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg and Vogue editor Anna Wintour, was posted today on Obama’s campaign website. His campaign touts his decision to release the names of donors who have raised $50,000 or more as sign of the president’s transparency and have challenged his Republican rivals to do the same.
Other powerbrokers on the list include former New Jersey governor Jon Corzine and Ari Emanuel, the Hollywood super agent. (His brother, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, was Obama’s chief of staff.)
While the GOP candidates have not released complete lists of their elite fundraisers, separate reports filed today with the Federal Election Commission also detail contributions collected by lobbyists on their behalf.
