Christine O’Donnell, the Delaware Republican who lost her race for the U.S. Senate last year, was first invited and then booted from the lineup of Tea Party speakers on Saturday. The group has  re-invited O’Donnell, who defeated moderate congressman Mike Castle for the GOP Senate nomination. She lost the general election to Democrat Chris Coons.

End of Libyan War, Lower Gas Prices


The turmoil in Libya greatly disrupted that country’s substantial oil production and exports. Libya produced 1.6 million barrels of oil per day and exported 2 percent of global oil supplies. Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini told his country’s state television that oil company Eni has returned to Libya and is considering restarting production.
